After beating AGO 2-1 in the grand final (19-22 on Overpass, 16-4 on Cobblestone and 16-12 on Mirage), Kinguin have won the ESL Polish Championship.
The LAN stage of the ESL Polish Championship, a league featuring eight teams and over $16,000 in cash prizes, began with AGO easing past ex-Pompa Black on just two maps, with Dominik "GruBy" Swiderski's team conceding just nine rounds throughout the series.
In the other semi-final match, PRIDE, who attended the event with PENTA player Paweł "innocent" Mocek as a stand-in, put up a great fight against Kinguin but ended up losing the series after Bartosz "Hyper" Wolny's men completed a reverse sweep.
MICHU boasted a total of 102 kills throughout the series
The grand final kicked off on AGO's map pick, Overpass, with GruBy and co. prevailing in overtime. However, Kinguin turned the series around after crushing their opponents on Cobblestone and picking up a close win on Mirage. Michał "MICHU" Müller was the man of the match as he averaged a 1.70 Rating, finishing the series with 102 kills.
